Exciting stuff this year. I didn’t set the following two goals formally as New Year’s resolutions, but they might well be. They are:
1. Query agents about Pet, my YA LGBTQ PNR in verse ( I couldn’t resist the alphabet soup; more comprehensibly, my young adult lesbianish paranormal romance in verse).
2. Revise and submit a novella to publishers that accept unagented submissions. (Two and a half years ago, I started a book about a woman who gets a strange ring from a homeless man, and on impulse I sat down and finished it over the course of a few days.)
I would like to do these things by Valentine’s Day–appropriately enough, as both are romances. Wish me luck!
